Gizmo and Gretchen Found Their Fur-Ever Home on March 27, 2006!
Well, Gizmo (now Trey) and Gretchen (now Cheyenne) were adopted by Dan, Jody, Daniel and Erika Long. You should have seen the pups running in the yard. This was their first time on grass and it was just hilarious to watch them.
Jody says the kids are doing super!!! They have mastered steps, they go to the door to go outside, they paw the door to come back in even though someone is outside with them. They have learned "sit", are learning "down", and she laughs when she said that stay isn't going well since they still have the treat in their hand when they walk away and the pups must follow.
She said she can't thank us enough for her new kids. They really love them!

They are doing great! It's sure nice to have them around the house. They've become important members of our family already!! Trey (Gizmo) is the ring leader, but Shyann (Gretchen) is an instigator for sure. They've out grown the red blanket in the photos already, and now each have their own they sleep on. We've purchased smaller collars for them, and they didn't like them at ALL! This too shall pass!
They are doing great. This morning they found a 2 liter bottle of Coke and decided to play with it. Needless to say, they punctured the bottle and it started to spray out. Jody said it was all over the stove, the cabinets, the floor and the pups. She had to give them a bath. They also unearthed a bone from our previous dog in the yard. They are doing great with going potty outside, they run to the door when they have to go, even when they are playing. Jody can't thank us enough for their new family members.
Trey tries out football:
Two little angles!
Sleeping Husky bookends:
"Hey, I thought we were turning on the sprinkler!"
"Hmmm, I could get used to this!"
