Iggy the Norwegian Elkhound

Iggy was found tied to a tree outside the hospital and no one has come looking for him. He is neutered, good with dogs, cats, and kids. He rides great in the car. He is also housebroken, and a bundle of love.

Iggy is one VERY lucky pup to be chosen by the Derr-Haverlach family. Marilyn writes:

Iggy is having a fun time here and enjoyed the day following me around the house. He is a great watchdog as he barked when the mail lady drove up the driveway with a package and did not stop until she was out of sight! Alex, who was asleep on the couch, just lifted her head, looked and went right back to sleep - she is deaf and having trouble seeing so perhaps she just thinks Iggy is seeing/hearing things:) Iggy was pleased to get Mike off the bus this afternoon and passed up a treat as he was more interested in sniffing Mike, the backpack and his jacket for clues as to where he went this morning. Iggy is eating every meal with no problem and enjoyed playing with Daddy, Mike and Greg while I made dinner.
