Maya's Fur-Ever Home

Heidi Found her Fur-Ever Home on 29 March 2006. Heidi (now named Maya) went home to Sinbad, Cuervo, Stephanie, Chris, Ashley, Katelyn, and Matthew Owens. Stephanie was outside with the camera taking a lot of pictures of Maya with her new family. They walked her around to let her potty and then got her settled in her new crate for the night. Stephanie said she cried a little before she settled in to sleep. When they got up this morning Maya had the tray out of the crate because she pooped on it. Stephanie forgot to latch the bottom of the tray on the crate. Maya made sure she didn't get dirty.



I also warned them that Maya will jump in the tub before you if you don't shut the door.



They are so happy with her and Sinbad and Cuervo are glad to have her back. As soon as she is completly house broken she will sleep with Matthew in his room.

Maya's owner writes:

Wanted to give you an update. We actually changed her name to Maya since that is what my son wanted when she came. I would normally not do that but she was getting confused. It worked out very well. She has grown accustomed to being called Maya and responds well.


We left her in the outside kennel yesterday morning with Sinbad to see how they would do. They did well. Wanted to share some photos. maya decided to dump her water bowl in a hole she dug and this is what happened. And of course my son and his new dog are getting along so well.
