Hey everyone, Dakota here!
Here are some new pictures of me in my fur-ever home.
Last weekend "mom" and "dad" took me to a big park with a lake. It was "Dad's" birthday and he wanted me to celebrate with him. I really liked it and there were other dogs there, but I was fairly comfortable with them, and I didn't "say" much when they walked by. I sat on one of the picnic tables and enjoyed watching the lake.
Last Sunday we had a birthday dinner for "Dad" with my adoptive "sister", her husband and her kids. The kids were okay, and I got pretty used to them during the evening. I was really good during dinner. I sat quietly and hoped someone would save me some leftovers. They did!! Then I sat on the porch with the grownups and watched the kids play outside.
The best part, or course, was the birthday cake, and I had a taste of that also.
All in all, I am enjoying my new life here. I have my third obedience class tonight, and again, I will try my best.
