Update on Phantom (Emiko)

Click to enlargeWe got an update from Phantom's (Emiko) new family!

"Henry and I wanted to give you an update on Phantom and share a few photos. The short version is that he's doing great and we're SOOO happy! :) He's really integrating into our family nicely. He and Bailey play almost non-stop, which is wonderful. He's still a wiggle-worm with taking his eye drops, but we're starting to give him a treat after it's done (Bailey waits in her crate during this process), hopefully to incentivize him to not move so much so he can hurry and get the treat....I'll let you know if that works ;) We're still feeding him in his crate with Bailey eating approx 1-ft away. He's doing well with that - no growling or snarking at her. We're very optimistic that we can work with him through this. He doesn't pay much attention to the cats, so the transition is going very well for them. The most reclusive of the 3 regularly comes out - that's a big step since it took 3-months with Bailey to reach the same point!

Click to enlargeToday the Greater Washington Siberian Husky Club went on a 6-mile hike in Northern Virginia and we took Bailey and Phantom. He did great - we discovered he loves streams (so does Bailey) so he had fun tromping around. Attached are two photos from this afternoon. Bailey is the red and white. Gryffin is our friend's sibe (also adopted from Pet Harbor, the rescue we got Bailey from); Phantom gets along great with him too."

Congratulations Phantom! It sounds like you found the perfect home!
