Zeus' Adventure

On Saturday morning, Zeus' owners thought they would clip his leash to his collar for just a quick potty outside. Well, Zeus backed out of his collar and took off on an adventure. They looked for him themselves, didn't find him, and then called Zeus' former foster mom, who alerted other HTH volunteers. Some volunteers left an event to go help look for Zeus. They stopped at a 7-11 for water and happened to see a flyer about a found Husky, which led them to Zues! Turns out an animal lover had seen Zeus running loose and opened her car door, and he hopped right in. She took him home, made "found Husky" flyers, and put them up at stores around the area where Zeus was found. We can't thank this wonderful person enough!

This is what Zeus' owners had to say:

"Hello Everyone,

Our dog Zeus got out of his collar this morning and was lost to us for several excruciating hours. But, thanks to the assistance from Brenda, Beverly, Karen and others whom we have never even met, our stunningly amazing and wonderful Zeus was found. There is no way to properly convey our gratitude to everyone involved and those of you who prayed (as we did) for his safe return.

We learned, in a terrifying way, a huge lesson: never underestimate the power of this breed and, he will never be out of this house without being on a harness ever again!

Thank You seems inadequate but,

THANK YOU TO ALL

And, Zeus says thank you too! He's very happy to be home and sleeping in peace and quiet being watched over with all our love..."
