On December 30, 2006, Lucy (now "Lucie") went home to live with her new family in New York. She now lives with Al, LouAnn, Aimee, Shawn, and six cats. The cats have accepted their new family member, but they still sometimes need to remind her of her place, which is, of course, below them.
It was love at first sight between Lucie and Al, and it was perfectly clear
from the time Lucie walked into the house that she was home for good. Lucie
and Al spend their days playing soccer, Frisbee, and chasing squirrels in the yard. Lucie also gets a long walk each evening with LouAnn (no squirrels allowed!) For a change of pace, she plays hockey with Aimee. The girls are having a blast!
As you can see from the pictures, Lucie has made herself quite at home, and is living out her life in love and luxury. Lucie even got to visit LouAnn's work with her - what a social butterfly! Lucie is living the dream of all foster dogs; the perfect furever home.
