Update on Sidra

Sidra was adopted a few weeks ago. It looks like she is fitting in perfectly with her new family! Here she is with her new brother Zeke.

And here she is looking as happy as can be!

Her new dad writes:

Sidra is doing great! She is truly special; very smart and eager to learn and very, very social. She and Zeke are getting along great. They play hard and often and seem to be a perfect match. She's doing great around the house. We haven't been crating her and she does well even when I have to go into the office (we have our dog walker come when I travel to work). She seems to feed off of Zeke's relaxed nature, which I think helps her through stressful times like being home without Cathy and I. Of course, his company alone probably makes her feel comfortable and relaxed. We've taken her on a couple of longer car rides and she is seems to be getting used to the car. Tomorrow is a big day for her as she is going in for her first vet appointment. She is getting tons of exercise and we are slowly introducing her into our trail running routine. She has gone from a maniac on the leash to a very lovely, well behaved young lady.

Cathy and I haven't had an opportunity to get signed up as a volunteer but will this weekend. We will keep sending pictures and updates. In between our communications know that we are spoiling her.

What a wonderful update! Sidra hit the jackpot!
