Update on Shiloh, now Dima

We got an update on Shiloh, who is now named Dima! His new mom writes:

"Just wanted to send you a quick update on Dima (formerly known as Shiloh). As some of you may know Dima has been with us for a little over a week. So far things are going really well. He and Misha (my 10 month old Husky) are getting along really well. Dima has fully embraced his new name and his new home. He's very affectionate and loves to play with Misha (for now all play time is 100% supervised to ensure it doesn't get out of hand). He fully understands sit and paw and we're working on other commands. We're still working on house training him as well as not going while in his crate. We're also working on his temper as he does like to be snappy every once in a while. Thanks to his razor sharp teeth and his tantrums I'm currently nursing a couple of injuries; however after several mother-son and father-son talks, I'm happy to report that he's doing much better. He's definitely not as snappy as he used to be. He's very much a happy-go-lucky kinda fella."

Congratulations to Dima, sounds like he found the perfect Husky savvy home!

Update on Homer, now Leo

We got an update from Homer (now called Leo)'s mom!

"Well 2 months flew by and we got crazy again and got another one! He is 9 months old and is a husky/shepard mix. His name is Harley. He is completely house broken and is just great to have around. Leo and Harley have countless hours of fun together, plus the cats get along great with both of them. Harley is already close to 70 lbs and Leo is close to 40lbs! They are both cuddlers. Leo is not too much of a swimmer, but we got Harley in a few times! Leo is getting "the surgery" at the end of the month! They love going to the park toghether."

Those two look so happy together! Congratulations to the entire family!

Update on Willow

Click to enlargeWillow's new mom sent us an update!

"Thought I'd give you a little update on Willow. The dogs have been
great together, finally playing with each other without fights. Last
week I brought back all the stuffed toys that belonged to my other
dogs. They've been playing with the toys and each other without
incident. I've also left them alone in the house without crates for as
much as an hour and a half without any problems. No destruction, no
accidents, no blood! Willow is wonderful with the boys. I've attached
3 pictures of Willow with the boys slip and slide and our sprinkler.
These were taken 2 weeks ago on a really hot day. Willow was trying
her best to bite the water from the sprinkler. She also likes to stand
in the boys' small swimming pool. At the end of that day, she was
thoroughly wet & muddy but she had a great time! Tomorrow we will be
celebrating Willow's 3rd birthday with ice cream. Hope they both enjoy
it. I also had to dog sit my ex son-in-law's golden retriever last
night (she's 12) & there really weren't any problems there either. Layla & Willow are both so much fun, I'm so glad I have them both. I love watching them play, especially when they both lay on their backs with their feet in the air, mouthing each other. We're celebrating Willow's birthday today, so I went to the local custard stand and bought a vanilla milkshake for both girls to share. Needless to say, they loved it. Hopefully, no one will have diarrhea! Thanks again Brenda for bringing Willow into my life."

That's the kind of update we love!
